It worked for me - I just dropped some monies in the pot.

Just tried again. Still getting the maintenance message. What link are you using? I'm using the link in red on the main page. It takes me to where you have to say which country and how much etc. Then i press submit and it takes me to the paypal web page which gives me a "sorry, site down due to maintenance".

I'd check my account if I were you, see if the payment got through, maybe several times, anyway.

Bleeding hell! Don't say things like that! If every attempt actually took money from my account, it will run into hundreds of pounds!

I'm serious. Not saying it's likely and it shouldn't be a problem to get the money back if it happened, but I really would check.

I never got as far as to be able to give my card number etc. Just the page where i had to state state the amount, country and currency. When i was directed to paypal, it just said "temporary unavailable due to maintenance".

 indeed. It worked for me, filled in the bottom of the page, clicked and got sent to PayPal, done! I only donated a piddling amount though 'cos I's skint.

Sorted it. Apparently, I shouldn't have put the £ sign in the amount box! Its an "incorrect format"! That destroys the internet!
