Anyway, on a more serious aspect, congrats to the new mods, especially Jerome, who I think will make a great addition to the philosophy boards.

Agreed on all counts. (There are philosophy boards?)

The Philosophy Board is not really a board and it doesn't really exist. Just ask Spozzy. :what:

Well basically, there's a causally inert Philosophy Board-ness outside of the spatio-temporal world and our board is an instantiation of that abstract object.
When the straight and narrow gets a little too straight, roll up the joint.
Or don't. Just follow your arrow wherever it points.

Ugh! Typical. When are you spatio-temporal-instantiationists going to realise the non-spatio-temporal-instantiationistic nature of reality? :snooty:

Actually, I think this should be the other way around. I'm the non-spatio-temporal-instantiationistic one, because the abstract objects are non-spatio-temporal but instantiated in the spatio-temporal world. You two are the two who are the two; I'm the other one.

Gentlemen, we're getting off topic. Keep the Philosophy stuff in the hovel backwater sub-forum set aside for it, and let this thread stay clean so more members can suck up to congratulate the new Mods.

No surprise then, that the Twin Towers collapsed if they were made of shit. Not much tensile strength in poo. :)
