I've had some of the issues so presumably you've been lucky...

More likely, oblivious. I only follow a few threads. I've also not had any trouble using iPad's Safari browser.

When I first clicked on my ratskep link this morning I was logged off. I had no issues with that, but I now do not see any lock icon at all. The lower right lock (firefox) is now gone where before had an exclamation mark telling me the site was serving non secure data. There is no lock icon at the address bar, only the usual RS inside a gray box.

Or, much more likely, it had nothing to do with me and just got fixed.

No, he just added ones so that if it's an open envelope with a red dot it's a thread where you've read everything and which you've contributed to. Ditto with closed envelopes with a red dot (i.e. new unread post in a thread to which you've contributed).
