Staff Colours.

#1  Postby kiore » Aug 04, 2012 8:41 pm

As may have already been noticed some of our staff have changed colour on their staff tag. This is an administrative change to simplify the staff appearance to members. From now all moderators will be the same green colour, with the previous Blue level removed. Senior Moderators and Admin remain the same Orange and Red respectively.
We hope this will simplify identification of staff roles by the membership.

I'm disgusted. Why weren't we consulted?

Yet another example of the overbearing moderation here.

Funny, I read that subtitle as 'small administrative charge'.

I'm getting too used to living in Sydney. :nono:

Shame, I can see you in hot pink too...probably in some sort of John Waters/Russ Meyer/Ed Wood style transgender maid outfit...but I'm probably typing aloud again when i should be keeping this shit to myself..

A lot more could be achieved with colours to improve communication and understanding on the site.

For example, you could make the text colour the same as the background colour for anyone who regularly posts in the Philosophy section.

Seeing we've gone all socialist and equal, we perhaps should have been coloured red.

We realize this, which is why the position is mentioned in text as well in the avatar.

What was the previous Blue level? Why has it been removed? What is now fulfilling the previous Blue level's previous function, if any, and what happens to moderators on a level that gets removed?

This move raises more problems than it solves.

I think DBD is out of luck, and perhaps has had as much wine as I tonight. :)
