LIFE wrote:Following consultation with the staff, I've created a position called "Senior Moderator" to act as a second-in-command. The Senior Moderator's responsibilities will be to co-ordinate the moderation team and to become a point of appeal for moderation issues. If members have issues with moderation that they cannot resolve with the individual moderator concerned, they should contact the Senior Moderator as the next step in the appeal process.

This has been recently been discussed with the staff, and after taking their opinions into account,
I have decided to appoint starr to the position

Thanks,
Bernhard

Wow, congrats, Starr!

congrats. Life, on a related topic, have you ever considered having mods identified by a number, like Mod 103? This is done by some sites, and it keeps conflicts from becoming personalized. Just an idea.

There's two of us! Which led Simon Gardner to mistake one of keypad's posts for mine to hilarious effect (a mistake easily made, especially as we are both Mac users, with the apple in our sigs).

Probably not. It's a take off from "Who's taking care of the care taker's daughter while the caretaker's busy taking care?"

But that doesn't mean Starr shouldn't take off her clothes.

;)

But I guess it comes down to the same anyways...

Good point and this is a very real problem I think.

How about contacting Josh Timonen & Andrew Chalkley, I'm sure they would consider it and of course they have first hand experience in this very role so no learning curve required.

Having said they might be a bit upset at the way they were treated recently so an apology from all the ex-staffers here should do it.

Starr had a picture of herself dressed as an Elf on the old site. You'd swear she was hiding a pair of wings too.
