I've just installed Tapatalk compatibility on our forum.

Tapatalk is a forum app on the iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, and Nokia. The app provides you fast forum access.
The read-only app version is for free, if you want to write posts or PMs via your phone you'll need their paid version.

I'm finding it is working well. Not all the functionality of the full blown browser experience (emoticons and some text formatting don't display) but now there's less of a chance I'll miss a critical post in Mafia :thumbup:

BTW I'm posting this using the app.

I have a regular cell phone with an HTML browser, and I can access the full site. :dance:

I just have to avoid threads that will have a lot of pictures posted in them--my phone goes berserk and reboots itself if there's too much info on a page.

I installed Tapatalk on the phone. Quite a pain in the arse it was. First it linked to ovistore. I'd forgotten the password there. Requested for a password reset. Then found another download link. Downloaded it. Sent to phone via bluetooth. And then my phone's battery went dead before I could test the fucking thing. :nono:

Can't we just talk? Like good ol' days? All this tech-stuff is killing me!

Good for you. Then don't use it. :grin:

I find it difficult to view and navigate a website optimized for a standard 17" screen on a mobile device. The app formats it for my screen.

As for complicated, I downloaded the app from the iTunes app store in about a minute. Contacted Bernard to see if he could install the free server side script. He did it, the forum was registered immediately and I was browsing the forum within less than a hour of the first step.

Wasn't complicated on my end and didn't seem complicated on Bernhard's.

So, why are you posting in a thread the subject of which you have no interest? :ask:
