I'd like to add my voice to those others expressing thanks for your time as moderator here. It was an honor to serve on the same team. Focus on that education! Be careful with that demanding job of yours and don't be a stranger around these parts.

We lose a mature, sharp mind. But that will give you time to pop down to the cabin in the summer.

Never got to thank you either Mr Pod, but I guess you know I appreciated it anyway!

Damn shame to see you step down as a MOD, but awesome that you'll be encouraged to post more often. You were staple in me feeling quite welcome on this site and were one of the instrumental voice of reason and consideration as I was struggling with religious beliefs. Thanks for all your service, Weaver!

Many thanks for the kind words, all.

As Kiore mentioned, my life has become way too busy recently - going to college full-time in a demanding Nursing program, EMS Captain at my local volunteer fire department, and main guy working on buying a half-million-dollar fire truck took up all my free time and more, leaving nothing for RatSkep. Though I would like to return to Mod staff at some point in the future, for right now I have to concentrate on real life.

To my former Mod teammates, I cherish the time we spent together, and really regret having to leave. Keep on with the great work, and try to remember that your work is appreciated, though it doesn't seem like it some times.

And Spearthrower, though I'm not on Staff any more, that doesn't mean I've surrendered my seniority - I think we both know who is going to be burning the shitters next time around, don't we?

You need to add in quite a few more "greats" - that many only gets my family back to the midst of the US Revolutionary War, when William Weaver was busy fighting British regulars with a musket.
