Upcoming downtime? Get down to the up tempo!
It's got nothing to do with your Vorsprung durch Technik, you know, and it's not about you joggers who go round and round and round.

Hi, can anyone help me? I took the advice above and purchased a 'book' to tide me over, but I can't figure out how to switch it on. Also, I can't locate the USB port; do I need some kind of special adapter?

It's already built into your body, comes with birth.
Just open the top layer of the book with your hand like you would open a fridge door.
You might want to play with the available light in your room to adjust the gamma values for a better reading as books usually don't come with their own illumination (only the more expensive ones do). And instead of scrolling you have to flip the paper layers by hand, there's numbers at the bottom right for orientation.

ETA: Btw, don't take my word for it, I'm not really a book expert. I'm not responsible for any irreversible damage you might inflict upon the book. Oh yes, and RTFM.

I see.

This all seems unnecessarily technical. I know it's progress and I should just 'get with it' to be down with the kids, but I can see these book things being just a passing fad :snooty:
