I was split between 4 and 5, but I've gone for 4.

An unpopular choice it seems :dunno: :(

Ah. In that case it's 4,5 and 15. But I still hope 4 gets it.

We are alive, so the universe must be said to be alive. We are its consciousness as well as our own. We rise out of the cosmos and see its mesh of patterns, and it strikes us as beautiful. And that feeling is the most important thing in all the universe.

I've gone for 4, 6 and 9, but they're all good, and I wouldn't object to wearing any of them on a T shirt.

Plaudits to all the talented designers!
I went for:
#5 - I like the infinity loop
#6 - very stylish
#15 - bold simplicity

I like #8 and #14 as well. Both are very well designed, but they remind me of logos I've seen on church newsletters. Darn those Christians for using graphics that suggest luminescence when such symbolism properly belongs to rational skeptics!

#11 is also excellent, but that eye looks a little too ...um... sexy!

And I like #10 as well, but decided against it because it looks a bit too medical.

Difficult to choose, because they're all so good!

#3 seems to be making something about the numbers 25 and 52. Is there a significance to those numbers? Did I miss the memo?

Favorites in order of preference: 14, 2, 6.

Number two brings to mind the arrangement of the periodic table and six remind me of da Vinci's sketches. I like the idea of an equation in number fifteen but I'm not as sure about the product.

However I adore the imagery in number 14; rationality as the foundation of enlightenment which is our only beacon in a dark universe. The lighthouse motif fits perfectly with the website's motto as well.

Kudos to whoever created it.

#5 #10 #15. 5 is my favourite but I really liked the other too so had to help em out as well. I was umming and arring about #6 instead of #15 though I think that ones pretty good.

No offense to the person who created #5, but I just don't get the appeal. I like the look of it, but I guess I just don't get it. :dunno: I understand the significance of some of them like the candle in the dark, the question marks, etc., but I just don't get what the infinity symbol represents in relation to the forum.

It's a Mobius strip. I do know that the Earth on it makes it look like a very stylised 'rs'. It is several versions from the original though.

On the thread for applications its towards the very end if you want to have a look. I think this is the first post on them:

Numbers 8 and 14 seem far to close to religious symbolism, is that a crescent and a hopi ear candle? Sorry, I meant Thermal Auricular Therapy candle.

Number 5 doesn't really say anything to me nor do I particularly like the look of it. It sprawls too much horizontally

Okay...well I guess that I can see the symbolism although it seemed like a lot of explaining was needed for it. I see quite a few people really like it though, and I do like the look of it as well. I just like the clearer meaning in the others a little better.

5 , 9 and 8

5 was my third choice, 9 1st as it has bit of personality, 8 was a clean presentation.

What a splendid collection of logi. Well done to staff for ploughing through the submissions thread and narrowing it down to these beauties - did you come to blows? :D

It was a really tough choice, I nearly went for 7,9 & 13 but settled on 4,5 & 15 in the end.

My favorites are 5 and 14. I love 5 for its simplicity. It's one of those logos that are easy to spot... plus, you can do different variationsof it.
However, 14 is more aesthetically pleasing. :ask:

To be honest, I don't know why 13 is on the list. It's not that it's so horrible, it's just bland.
