New Neanderthal remains associated with the‘flowerburial’at Shanidar Cave

First articulated neanderthal remains found in over a decade in a site well known for apparent burial practices with remains showing both intra-specific violence and compassionate care of the sick, injured and elderly.

Lots of interesting elements in this paper but it's too late, so I am just dropping it here now to come back and look a bit deeper later.

How much will you bet that the cro magnon were VERY primitive when they exited africa and learned a lot of 'civilised' tricks from the Neanderthal they met?
