From today's spaceweather.com, this one will probably get the "portents of doom" crowd excited whilst the virus rampages...

COMET ATLAS IS BRIGHTENING: Three weeks ago, amateur astronomer Roman Kulesza of Ontario, Canada, tried to find Comet ATLAS (C/2019 Y4). "It wasn't easy," says Kulesza. "But last night--wow! The comet has really brightened." He took this picture of the emerald-green comet with a 5-inch refracting telescope...

By the time Comet ATLAS approaches the sun in May, it could become quite bright, indeed. Estimates range from magnitude +1 to -10; in other words, somewhere between a 1st magnitude star and the waxing crescent Moon.

Comet ATLAS Y4 Finder Charts by mars_stu

Includes projections of the comet's position on the sky through the month of May in handy 5-day steps. The comet continues towards Sol and recent estimates put its coma at around 720 thousand kilometres diameter and a tail is growing.

Michael Jaeger in Austria took this image a couple of nights ago and had it posted on spaceweather.com:
