I don't mean to sound precious, or egotistical, but I'm worried somebody might nick it if i post it online incomplete. I'll finish it, try to get it published, then publish it online myself if that doesn't work. It has value - I shouldn't just chuck it on the pavement IMO.

Don't get me wrong, it's a delightful pavement, paved with companionship, friendship, knowledge and vitality.

I think that copyrighted work is protected in law from plagiarism and so if you publish online make sure
you legally own it before someone steals it from you for there may be nothing you can do to stop them
But that aside you are better putting it online anyway because ninety five per cent of first time novels
are never published in hard copy. You wish to be successful then short stories is the market to aim for

no pain no gain. Masochism is the way forward - to get off on the pain of not abusing myself with drink and drugs because it's for the best...from midnight.

No, fuck that - I don't like pain. What I'm trying from tomorrow is to write down all the reasons I must abstain and work hard; pinning them to the wall above my CDs.

Just alcohol and nicotine today, Crack cocaine historically but not for 3weeks - I've fallen out with my dealer in some respects - he said he didn't care for my conversation.

Count your drinks. Nicotine sucks. Crack gets better soon.

Hold on to the dream - you won't see me change my sig again. I'm going to be pure from midnight. Dedicated, abstinent author revolution.

From midnight I'm going to force myself to sit at my writing desk 9am til 11am, ADD or nay. I need update my sig one last time...the buzz I get from doing something productive should keep me off the sauce.

Would you like to submit your work to the forum for constructive criticism. As getting positive
feedback would improve your writing skills and may also spur you on to spend more time each
day writing. That is less time drinking. For it is hard to produce good work when you re pissed
