Here's another beautiful story...

A father's son was trapped, burned alive and screaming in a fatal car wreck, but his bible was recovered unscathed. Must have been a sign from God.

(I just made this up but wouldn't it be wonderful?)

Does anyone buy the part about the firemen coming out teary-eyed?

Sounds like his own twist to me going by the snippet posted, but I'm geoblocked.

Ever tried walking out of a smoke filled smouldering ruin with dry eyes?

I let a pan of oil I was heating get smoky just two days ago. Actually it was more like a vapour and it didn't even set off the smoke alarm. It choked the crap out of me and felt like it burnt my lungs. And yes, it made my eyes water.

But you know what I mean. I mean were they teary-eyed after being overcome with spiritual emotions?

I'm suggesting it's a spin put on a perfectly ordinary occurrence, I guess.

Didn't have one scorch mark but only survived 'almost entirely' intact? :what:

Looks pretty scorched on the outside to me:

The pages inside are obviously intact but, like I said before, the paper can't burn if the oxygen can't get there.

Glory be to God!

Anybody who claims god is good is spewing shit. If god were good, he'd not have barred the first humans from knowledge of good and evil, and he would not order (yeah, AFAICT the devil acts on orders, not mere tolerance, because if it went beyond mandate, it would have been killed off like so many others mentioned in the bible) the devil to make us suffer, it would give us a beautiful world where we would all live in harmony and have grounds to praise it.
