So I saw this video on Cult of Dusty's channel and it was a trip down memory lane. I forgot about these and they are so hilarious. Here is Dusty talking about his favorite one.

Did anyone else read these as kids?

Jack T. Chick spliced with Oz, now there's something!

Apparently JTC is the most prolific underground comics publisher in the world. Could well believe it. The tracts are strangely compelling in their sheer demented inventiveness. Everyone's in on the conspiracy to end all conspiracies, and only the magic words can save your ass from the faceless giant on the glowing throne. They spew hate and manage to offend just about everyone, but there's a weird cooky charm to the things.

Plus, Fang.

Pfff...there's a much better reading of Chick tracts (and sometimes with cool graphics) by "Morrakiu" on YT, here's an example:

I've got a couple of them, bought from an occult bookshop for laughs.

According to the Wikipedia page on Jack Chick, he's a fucking fruit loop. He's one of the King James Only mob for starters, and he promotes a swathe of batshit insane conspiracy theories, usually centring upon accusing the Vatican of various weird and wonderful activities, such as starting World War II and inventing Islam (I kid you not), which he obtained from another fruit loop called Alberto Riviera, whose history is, shall we say, interesting.

Chick just proves the age old adage: Crazies gonna craze. But Chick Tracts are always good for a laugh.
"I would rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are,
Because a could-be is a maybe that is reaching for a star.
I would rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far,
For a might-have-been has never been, but a has was once an are".
