"Ehwa" the god in Avatar is very different than the "god"s on planet earth...
1) Ehwa was able to directly communicate with the people of the planet through physical means.
2) Ehwa was able to direclty influence the behavior of life on the planet.
3) Ehwa actually existed.
In all of these respects, the "god"s that so many on planet Earth worship are completely flacid.

It reminds me of some leaflets Fundie groups spread some time ago claiming the Dragon Ball TV series was "satanic", and making up BS ethymologies for the characters' names. Or the infamous anti-Halloween campaigning, for that matter.
