Woman killed in violent hotel room 'exorcism'

Police have arrested five relatives of a woman found beaten and choked to death in what appears to have been a violent "exorcism" in Frankfurt on Saturday.

The bruised body of a 41-year-old woman was found by staff at Frankfurt's InterContinental Hotel on Saturday morning, a spokesperson for the Frankfurt prosecutor's office told The Local.

Police arrested five family members of the woman in connection with her death, which officials suspect occurred during an attempted exorcism.

The five are reportedly from South Korea and arrived in Hesse six weeks prior.

The suspects are reported to have tied the woman to the bed and beaten her in the stomach and chest for several hours, prosecutors told DPA on Wednesday.

To stifle her screams, they stuffed a towel into her mouth, causing the woman to eventually suffocate.

The suspects gave information leading to the discovery of the second woman, who was suffering from hypothermia and severe dehydration.

Police found her in a house rented by the suspects in Sulzbach, Hesse.

Exorcisms have never been proven to drive any kind of 'demons' out of anyone, but they've proven quite effective at driving the life out of a sad percentage of the exorcisees. No information on what particular cult these people called home, no doubt it's from S. Korea, I seem to remember they've been infected by numerous american imports of evangelicals.

Religious People from South Korea that can afford expensive hotel rooms and owning houses in Germany are definitely evangelicals.

In the 80s rumours of metal heads performing bizarre Satanic rituals put fear into the hearts of superstitious Christians. Meanwhile in reality the only people performing bizarre and dangerous rituals were themselves.
It smacks of projection to think 'the enemy' is out there doing weird shit counter to your own weird shit.

Well, if society tolerates the claims of religion as "truths", it is only natural that people do exorcisms. I don't blame these deluded people at all. If societies let [mainly] men run around in funny dresses, and teach people that they can affect reality by praying to a sky-fairy, the it follows that there will be a significant number of brainwashed people who will do anything on behalf of their delusions.
