I'm also skeptical, both about the quote and about the claimed line of attribution. "He did this to tempt humankind and to test it's [sic] belief in the bible." is NOT what I'd expect from a Jesuit. And it was not the age of the Earth that Lemaitre worked on, but that of the Universe.
