Many's the night I lay awake as a child fretting about those heat rays. And once when I was delirious with a fever I hallucinated dozens of tiny alien tripods coming to get me. Thanks, older sister. Mind you, it is a bloody great album which I know inside out now.

I still have the cds I nicked off my parents. 13 year old me was blown away by the whole thing and 29 year old me stills thinks it is amazing. I can't wait for my so to get to experience it for the first time. Perhaps on the trip to a camping ground to really scare the willies out of him.

I tried to nick the vinyl record off my sister but she noticed it was gone, so I had to give it back. Got it on my mp3 player now, but of course that doesn't come with that rather excellent booklet with all the artwork in it.
