I can't help but think "invent" is a little bit of an overhype.

I wonder who the engineering company was? I can't see the regulators allowing a new waste water (albeit small 65 m3/h on average) discharge treated water without some process guarantees in place.

No human intervention? No maintenance? Really? A bit of hype.

reread the article … its not waste water, but water for reuse, my apologies … but the technology is not that new either.

Dutch monasteries are fine bastions of simple moderation, invention and the shunning of greedy materialism. Probably the best lager monasteries in the world.
