Fracking or "Hyraulic fracturing" is a hot topic in the area I live.I am planning on attending a talk on the topic in the area soon, but wanted to get a balanced unemotional informed view if I can. Any suggestions?
I saw the movie "gasland" but ddont knwo too much about it

I saw fracking in one of the CSI episodes, but I don't know much about it.

The documentary Gasland is about fracking. It was very interesting. I know there is a lot of controversy over it. I know it's been halted in several areas due to increased amount of geologic activity and environmental effects as well..

it's fracking dangerous from what i've seen reported. ok in winter, but somewhat disconcerting to get fire when one turns the tap on for water.
