I would like to share something really special. The link above is to a poster at a 1 to 1 scale of the skull of “Stan” the Tyrannosaurus rex in extraordinary resolution. I am not making a penny from this, but I was invloved in the reviewing and techical production of this awesome poster. Click on the image for your region/country, and be sure to read the comments. While not attributed at my request one of the quotes is mine. One can count the serrations on any tooth! Yeah, a little proud to be involved if only on a limited basis. What I got out of the deal is one of the very first copies, and I am proud to own it.

375$ with free shipping for international orders, although since for the US it's 155$ I have to ask myself how free that shipping actually is.
Still, very cool and I'd totally hang that thing in my bedroom. It is on the overly expensive side, though

The Canadian price is fair ...I suspect the international cost spike is an oversize packaging.

If anyone wants me to order one and ship it by mail or whatever ....I'm happy to do so but you have to figure out best shipping method to you.
If I order I'll likely buy in the US since we import every week,.

My copy is still in its shipping tube, and will stay there until proper mounting is sorted. I will say this and be done. Saying this is “just a poster” is like saying the ceiling of the Sistine Capel is “just a fresco”. Until you see the poster in real life the mental image is insufficient.

I was there because I killed it.

I'd actually be fine paying the US price for a huge, well-printed, high-res poster. The international price is just ridiculous, though.

Not any of my doing, nor do I understand the reason. I am just the piano player. Perhaps the size and insurance has something to do with it. :think:

Because of the non-traditional size of this poster it exceeds the maximum length of nearly every international carrier. Fortunately, United Parcel Service (UPS) is able to make international delivery. Unfortunately, they also require a non-traditional size shipping fee to do so

I didn't say it was 'just a poster'. It looks amazing and I would like one, but for most of us ordinaries that much money for a large piece of paper, albeit with a very impressive image on it, is not justifiable.
