#1  Postby Keep It Real » Oct 29, 2017 8:57 am

Can't even afford to buy a pint of milk for a cup of tea :waah: next door neighbour said he's pay me back a tenner he owes me this morning but he's not awake yet...another friend owes me £160....really need to stop lending people money and buying them booze/fags/drugs...I do that a lot :nono:

I went to the shop to try to get a lay on of butter and milk. Bumped into one person I know on the way, told him I had no money and needed milk, and he gave me a quid! Then I bumped into a bird I know and she gave me some filter tips! Not all bad in my endz then : )

Stop lending money to people when you have none for food. If you had not lent to those two you would now
have I70 quid of your own which is enough for eight and a half weeks worth of food. Altruism and empathy
are wonderful attributes but an empty stomach has no use for them

Agreed. My neighbour gave me back that tenner a few hours ago so that's something.

It's a bit like saying "I can't afford a Ferrari!" :(

Of course I take the point. You brits and your failure to grasp wry humor. Almost as bad as Americans

I recognize the attempt at humor. Wry? Maybe a little on the nose
