I could buy 10 square miles of remote Maine timberland for conservation, for a few million. Build a house there. Allowing recreation to the public, of course, but no hunting.

Buy other acreage in remote places.

Have an apartment in Manhattan.

Keep on yard saling. :mrgreen:

World travel, including the Antarctic coast in the summer.

Pay some relatives bills, take them on vacation with me.

Fund woodchuck, squirrel, and other animal behavior research. I'd get to directly observe the research in the field, too. :mrgreen:

Invest some for future income.

I'd surely donate some money outright, but probably not more than a few percent right off. 10 million doesn't go far these days. :evilgrin:

I would finish the current revision of the agreed syllabus for religious education at work (as it's a very interesting/rewarding project) and then I'd retire.

I'd buy a car, my first ever, and I would do some serious sightseeing round Britain and mainland Europe.

I'd seriously up my charitable donations to WaterAid, Breast Cancer Research UK and HopeforPaws.

I'd invest the rest and make sure that my sisters were financially okay.

But mainly I'd be able to protect my creativity from the stress of financial anxiety.
