In Canada, not sure about the EU or UK, we also track the Participation Rate, ie actively employed or seeking employment vs those not seeking employment.

Every country has a whole suite of labour market statistics.

Some UK examples:
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlab ... ctober2018

Employment rate:
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlab ... loyeetypes
Participation rate (not sure if this one has internationally standardised definitions, it's not one I'm familiar with):
https://tradingeconomics.com/united-kin ... ation-rate
Unemployment rate:
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlab ... employment
Underemployment and overemployment rate:
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlab ... ymentemp16
Inactivity rate:
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlab ... inactivity
Part time working statistics:
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlab ... tedemp01sa
Working hours statistics (a single example):
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlab ... s/ybuy/lms

You can go on all day with these things.

Looking at unemployment/employment/inactivity probably gives a good overview, but there's always more to be said.

Well we dont have any problem. Just because the UK has not got viable data do not tar other countries with the same brush.
You dont have UK examples because that is non data. It is what the tory government wants.

As long it can be used for a smoke screen it is ok.

Stop lying. They are not. The major countries do not recognise ZHC's. So that UK data is not valid.

Who is talking shit. We dont have like most other countries ZHC's. ONS data is shit but still you keep on quoting that crap. Their definitions are like no others. They do what the tory government requires of them. Any smoke screen is better than none. Nobody in the EU accepts UK crappy data. You are a laughing stock.
