Play Doh to replace penis-like "Extruder"

#1  Postby kennyc » Dec 31, 2014 3:29 pm

Don't panic! Play Doh will replace that toy that resembles a penis
This is what Hasbro calls the "2-piece extruder."

One can immediately see certain possibilities.

Bit short, though.

So Kenny, does this thread lend a lot to the 'main thrust' of the site?

If it were part of the main thrust, there would be more bollocks.

I wonder, will the person who designed it get sacked?

Yes, it's not a Beautiful Penises thread now is it.

The only question was whether to post it in Parenting or News.

This is teaching children incorrect information about sex. They're all going to think Play Doh comes out now.

I am so glad that we have threads like this that "reflect and embrace the ideals and intentions of the site owner" while dirty nasty threads with dirty nasty PG-13 pictures are locked and soon to be deleted.

Are they going to be? I don't see much support for that idea in the thread concerned.

I can go down the road any time I want and walk into the toy shop and hold my head up high and say in a loud, steady voice, Sell me a Play-Doh extruder, my good man; for I am a protestant!

Given the number of instances that have come to light recently, of children's toys with, ahem, unintended design features, you would think that someone would put together special classes, aimed at steering toy designers away from producing something that looks as if it belongs in a bad porn movie ...

Though I am reminded at this juncture, of a comment made by an acquaintance familiar with the business of ergonomics. Who told me that one of the undeclared rules of thumb that frequently applies, with respect to the world of hand held devices, is that if your object shares its essential dimensions, and at least some of its tactile characteristics, with an erect penis, it's far more likely to gain acceptance, and be regarded as convenient and intuitive to use.

It’s wonderful to watch kiddies growing up without them scrutinizing every single toy (or food item) and assuming it’s a sexual object or image... what I’m waiting for is when these dumb-fuck moms stop looking for a penis at every turn and finally get on with their pathetic little lives.

It seems that an overzealous mother wrote to the Libby's Food company and complained that the palm tree on her can of Zoodles resembled a penis when it was turned upside down. That's right people a mother complained that the palm trees that were on the Zoodles label resembled a penis.

http://www.retrojunk.com/article/show/1234/the-zoodles-label-controversy

Even “The Little Mermaid” isn’t immune from these desperately-looking-for-a-penis moms.

A supermarket chain has pulled copies of the animated movie "The Little Mermaid" off its shelves because a customer complained that artwork on the cover contains an offensive phallic symbol.
