I suppose there could be a forum on biotechnolog, that would incorporate gene editing, but that may be a matter for the mods to decide. :dunno:

The problem with simply extending E&NS to include gene editing is that the process referred to as gene-editing is not a natural one, even though NS does do a lot of editing, just not on the same basis (or timescale) as artificial gene-editing.
