Foxtel carries Archer here they are up to season two. Normal TV I think also has season 2 the last I saw of it. I have no clue when season three will get here but more and more they are starting to show American TV shows here only a few days after airing in the USA. Still to keep up with a lot of shows piracy is common.

Didn't blow my mind this time around. I like the general idea for the season, but not much happened this episode. More of a preview that might just as well have been done with a couple of trailers beforehand.

Was that a preview? I thought it was a Breaking Bad parody, and the reset button would be pressed and we'd be back to ISIS as usual next week.

No. Apparently they're kind of switching directions with this season, aiming for a Miami Vice vibe. I mean, the season is called "Archer Vice". Except, by the looks of the first episode, they're the drug dealers and not the undercover cops. Who knows, though. It might just be a ruse.

A ruse? Brrring, brrring. Hello. Hi, it's the 1930's. Can we have our words and clothes and shitty airplane back?

New episode was pretty mirthful.

Have you checked out the new animated series Rick and Morty which includes Cecil from Archer?

Cyril?

I see it's created by Community creator Dan Harmon. That makes it worth a look.

Oh yeah, Cyril.

Sarah Chalke is in it too. You remember that blondie one from Scrubs? It's like a spoof of Doc and Marty McFly meets Futurama meets Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

It does sound funny, judging from a couple of clips on their page, but day-fucking-um, is the art style hideous. Whatever happened to watchable toons? I mean, I'm sure talented people are working on that stuff. It wouldn't even begun to be funny otherwise. Why go out of your way to make it look like shit, though?

ETA: As an aside: Anonye started watching Chozen? From (at least some of) the people who made Archer: The story of a white, gay gangsta rapper:

Haven't watched anything but the trailer yet, but it looks promising.

Chozen only has a 5/10 on IMdB. I'm hesitant.

The animation is great. The worlds they visit are wonderfully surreal. Why you no like?

I didn't really watch it yet, as I said. Just saw two or three clips on their homepage. Still, It looks exactly as good as your stupid meme picture up there. That is to say, it looked like shit from what I saw.

Even if I assume that the alternate worlds go out of their way to look better than Avatar, chances are I'll spend most of the time in that house the two main characters, Cyril-dad, Sarcastic Teenage Girl Parody and The Mum seem to inhabit. So most of it will look like shit. I don't care about the quality of the writing if I can't watch it without feeling repelled.

Just watch it. It will convince you itself. I mean, what other cartoon has tramps with an amusement park built into and featuring their internal organs? Or has clones from an alternate reality possessed by by demonic aliens from another dimension's future?

None. You won't find them.
