^ Yes, having a vestibule was considered very up-market on our street. :snooty:

Also, why does it now have the "Police Public Call Box" sign on the inside?

I wonder if the idea of resurrecting Romana as a character ever got brought up.

i'm wondering whether it's just a production still and that's actually the outside of the tardis 'box' on set with camera angles not showing the inside, or cgi added later
i guess i could be a quiet hero

Yes, that's probably it. If a gas-meter suddenly appears on the wall in that vestibule I'll definitely know something is afoot!

i like the very organic feel it's got....

also of note is this comment from philip hinchcliffe having seen some of the new series - "it's extraordinary, like nothing we've ever seen before, and we're going to love it..."

interesting read from 1999...various names on the panel that are part of dr who history...davies, moffatt, gatiss, cornell, parkin

worth a read with the benefit of hindsight, knowing what came to be

I prefer a good binge to trickles.
* my (modified) emphasis ( or 'interpretation' )

when you chop off your neighbours head and use it as a vase, you can call it 'culture'.
it's called civilisation is when this gets you jailed for the rest of your live.

Fixed it. Never meant to add the time tag in the first place.

I personally think the new series will be shite. That's more to do with Chibnal writing some truly abysmal episodes in the past. Jodie is a great choice though.

That women ruin everything, and before regenerating as a woman, the Doctor had already regenerated as a cuck, and that it's all the fault of the BBC using its compulsory license fees to indoctrinate the world with cultural Marxism.

Same old, same old.

He'll stop watching, and that'll show 'em. Much like the guys who burn their own Nikes.
