I don't think anything but your own mind makes it look like that. Why can't it be that she inspires more followers as this regeneration?

And I don't think anything but your own mind makes it look like I actually said the are no other possibilities.
but „if I ask really nicely, will you be my friends“ or some such opening lines sure have me worried how some people can interpret this.

one other possibility is: it takes three companions to keep up with this Doctor.

Maybe they're like Star Trek redshirt characters who get bumped off quickly? :dunno: :plot:

Where do I indicate it looks like that to me? I replied to the only possibility you offered.

Dicks interpret things in dickish ways. Why does it matter?

instead of posting a false dichotomy I hoped the writers has plenty ideas to make it look otherwise:

I'm just worried that it might result in less character development and whether they can properly manage each characters screen time and development.

You posted a single possibility.

I hoped the writers has plenty ideas to make it look otherwise:
Agi Hammerthief wrote:I hope they made shure it doesn’t look like that.

I know what you said, I read it. You came up with a single interpretation of the scenario, then said you hope the writers don't make it look like that, the thing which as far as I'm aware, only you have interpreted this way. Also, making it look like that is different from people interpreting it like that.

Fallible wrote:Where do I indicate it looks like that to me?

your whole bloddy reply actually:
Fallible wrote:

Literally nothing in my reply indicates what you said. Literally nothing.

Fallible wrote:Dicks interpret things in dickish ways. Why does it matter?

I'm saying that people will come up with all sorts of shit. This concern of yours reminds me of when someone worries about what atheists say in case theists misinterpret it. That's the problem of the theists. People coming up with some shit about the female Doctor having more than one companion is their problem, these hypothetical people. As I said, the only one who appears to think that a viable interpretation so far is you.

regarding an earlier comment about her needing help, chibnall sees thee doctor very much as a leader still...."the Doctor is still that character who can walk into a room and through force of personality, force of charm, force of being amazing... can solve the problem, defuse the problem, make everybody happy [and] get out alive."

i'm intrigued by the three...i was expecting two, tbh...though there's plenty of precedent for it

Didn't Davison have an ensemble cast of capanions as well?

just watched the Comic-Con panel

looks like answer B was correct: it takes three companions to keep up with this Doctor.

Just now realised the door has sides, which the previous models hadn't.
