Well, that was an improvement. Let's hope the next series will improve on that.

It actually had me 'glued to the 'telly'.

It was 'OK'. A Dalek made an appearance. Too much time was spent on unrelated 'personal chit-chat' between father & son. Fast forwarded through those bits.

This appeared in my recommended list:
"Respect for personal beliefs = "I am going to tell you all what I think of YOU, but don't dare retort and tell what you think of ME because...it's my personal belief". Hmm. A bully's charter and no mistake."

I started watching the rest of this show recently after stopping at the end of season 2 a few years back. Now I have some quite firm opinions and will share one of these. Clara Oswald is the best of the companions with the exception of Donna.

Thanks for your time.

Wow, The Daleks and The Doctor have the same birthday, but two years apart. Whudda thunk?

O is a double agent and crashes the plane. That's not a spoiler in the circumstance. A random set of events with no particular meaning.
In Paris nothing matters.

A Masterful Fry-up to kick off a new series.

Fry did the best he could with a dogs breakfast. Think he was thankful to be shot. Noticed the baddy aliens where entirely white, was that a woke thing or something ?? even there hats where white so maybe they'll be redeemed later as all bad guys are on Doctor Who these days...? No losers, no bad guys and despite the nightmares it all ends with a big panto exit...sugar and spice and all things nice....

I guess you won't be watching any more then. That'll be nice.

From his synopsis, I think he was watching a different programme anyway.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Somehow, the new series doesn't seem to be as 'gripping' as the oldies. Maybe it's my age... :dunno:

The stories don't seem to be as 'convincing' such that I used to sit 'glued to the telly' with earlier Docs.

Ah yes, the gripping days of the Cybermen of yore...

Consider me convinced & glued.

Episode 2 has a speech by the villain detailing how everyone on Earth is being watched and all details of their lives recorded and stored...
Yeah. As if that could ever happen...
