Right so how are they going to reanimate the mountain as ser crushalot or whatever he is being referred to, for the upcoming trial by combat? I don't think they can just pull out the whole reanimation thing in series 5 (or whenever) saying remember that bloke was in one scene while sean bean was still the hand, and then in series 2 or 3 they kept bringing him back to life but nothing really came of any of that, well actually anyone can do that with a bit of experimentation which is really convenient because (IIRC) cersei needs a champion now.

No lady snowheart will have to significantly change brienne's story, as well.

Yeah, that's not upcoming. That is like 2 season's from now.

Also we know Ser Gregor is reanimated by Qyburn in the books.

This thread is about the books and the tv series, the other one is the one about only the tv series.

Right, and I was confused as to what trial by combat ED was referring to as in the show there has been no trial announced.

But we know it's coming, like winter

I've finally watched the series finale, the skellingtons were cool and very well done effects-wise but I feel they should have seen them coming (having the gift of prophecy) and been able to avoid them, I realise not avoiding the death you see coming is a well-used trope but in this case his death was completely pointless and anti-climactic. Also, why didn't the ancient girl start lobbing those fireballs a couple of minutes sooner, looks like she was just being a dick.

Brienne's storyline just kind of fizzled out compared to her story in the books, shes got nothing to do now.

Also, wasn't happy with the omission of Tywin pooping post-mortem.

Maybe that'll be referenced in the next season.

That whole story line has completely changed. Samwell and Bran were supposed to meet, Coldhands first taking Sam and what's her face south to the wall and then taking Bran north to the tree. It's a shame, I would have liked to see how they portrayed him.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

I am just wondering what they will do with Bran as we have entered the middle of Book 5 now in this regards with his story as well as the beginning of 5 with Dany.

Xaihe wrote:What about Arya? That's all rather different than in the books. I wonder where that's going. And why did she break out laughing when she heard that her aunt died? Maybe she thinks it's funny that The Hound took her all that way to find out yet again that he's not getting his ransom...

Well she has been trying to get to a family member for so long every time she gets close they are dead but also the fact she is stuck with The Hound etc... she was laughing most likely life cannot get more worse and cracked a little.
