I enjoyed Upstart Crow, but I never could get into Peep Show. It just makes me cringe, which is the death of humour for me. Mitchell and Webb are both very likeable on panel shows or in their sketch show, so I guess it's just one of those things.

I remember enjoying it, but it was my introduction to those guys. Do you mean like Curb Your Enthusiasm cringe, or "this is bad" cringe?

I haven't watched Curb your Enthusiasm, but I mean "this is uncomfortable to watch", not bad production or acting.

Yep, we wandered away from Peep Show. Preferred That Mitchell and Webb Look.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Finally started watching The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. I like it very much, especially the mother :

"I hope you like apple sauce and peach slices, because that's what we're serving. Apple sauce and peach slices and mashed potatoes and consume and hard boiled eggs and pured cauliflower, and pudding for desert. Your teeth will wonder what they're there for."

She cracked me up there

Good stuff. Wife and I recently started watching Upstart Crow, a show with Mitchell as Shakespeare. Loads of fun!

Thanks for the tip!

Well I also laugh hysterically at Curb Your Enthusiasm, if that gives you any frame of reference.

I don't know what it is about David Mitchell, but he is just . . . funny!

Loved Peep Show as a 20-something-er who could totally relate to all the awkward situations. Jeremy and the dog episode; need I say more?

Trying to watch Star Trek: Picard and am finding all the high-pitched, saturated, squelchy-twinkly-chirpy sci-fi sounds difficult to ignore and highly distracting. All technology must make a sound! Nevertheless, I forge ahead in the hopes that something good will happen.

HDR 4k ...quite the contrast between the clips from earlier media and the main story.

I haven't watched a whole episode of this – and don't intend to – but I was surprised by how entertaining it was.

Hah! I watched a few clips on Youtube, and on the strength of them I bought series 2-4 on DVD when they went on sale. Did not disappoint. The acerbic humour, particularly when the show tears into logic fails - which it does pretty much all the time, is right down my alley.

Still looking for series 1.

David Mitchell also outshone everybody else on QI when Stephen Fry chaired it.

It's decent, but the plot just meanders on at a certain point imo.
