I remember being not that fond of the first season of Black Adder. Really enjoying it now, though.

We're watching The Witcher. Somewhat on the fence with this one, so far.

This Country. Season 3 just started.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.

Hastings seems to have grown a very long arm during the off season, though.

Have they said this is the last season of Better Call Saul? It feels like it is. All threads set up to come to a head.

The Brits have been making some great detective shows of late. As well as Snitch Cops... I mean Line of Duty... mentioned above I also recommend Unforgotten. A cold case drama which digs up the past both literally and figuratively.

Also ITV has been less shite than usual. Both Blackwater Fell and White House Farm were good. The latter was based on the Jeremy Bamber killings from the 1980s.

I'm rewatching Better Call Saul because there's so much I can't remember looking at the new season. It's a very sequel-y prequel. I could never recommended to someone new watching this first even though theoretically this should precede it, but the whole thing is made with Breaking Bad in mind you need to watch that first to delight in the cameos and references, especially the prophetic ones.

I have a larger appreciation for it on a second look, with consideration after rewatching Breaking Bad recently and the juxtaposition between the controlling and measured, Walter White, and Saul as the gambler who coasts through life.
