Presumably then they are not allowed to use their own bank cards to pay for things, or get cash as it's needed and sort it out with receipts at the end. Ok, it was silly to forget the cash if that is the case, but in a normal situation you wouldn't need to remember to carry extra cash all the way across London, because you'd have your card with you. Either that or they really are morons.
I also get the feeling that they are not allowed to use smart phones or look things up on the internet or anywhere else. There seem to be many situations where my first thought would be "if you don't know, google it", but they never do even for really basic things like checking the actual definition of their team name. Either that or they really are morons.
And in most of the tasks the time limits are specifically so short and appointments arranged in such a way that it's impossible to do a good job. I assume with the design task they weren't permitted to talk to the prototype developers about what was actually feasible for overnight production until after they had come up with a design, just so it would inevitably go wrong and force a hurried re-design. Either that or they really are morons.
