Not bad. How about a leg of nerds, in honor of that troll here years ago who said something about nerd thighs being skinny.

I'm telling you, it's a raid. You get a group of nerds together, they form a raid. Or a party.

Or a research team.

Are you referencing this movie, or just a coincidence?

Is it possible to be a hard (violence competent) nerd? :dunno:
Once one accepts one has to have an imperfect life, one need no longer strive to be the best/have the best/PWN the world.

I watched Along Came Polly last night. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Sam Harris (I didn't know he used to be an actor  )
I knew going in it would be a goofy romcom, but I made the exception because it featured a pet ferret on the cover, which I mistakenly assumed would be named Polly. Polly was the girlfriend, and it was only a limited role for the ferret. :nono: It was relegated to being repeatedly shown running into things because it was blind. Not cool. I can guarantee that The Ghost of Mr. Woodchuckles frowns upon this. There's a special place in hell for anyone who would exploit a four-legged believer in such a way. :dopey:

The movie was a romcom, so, sucked, despite decent acting by "vintage" Jennifer Aniston, Phillip Seymou Hoffman and Alec Baldwin, and some funny moments here and there. Most of them coming from Bryan Brown as the prospective uninsurable insuree Leland Van Lew.

Well; A they're children so kinda look like weak/geeks anyway which doesn't really mean they are; and then there's point two which is that they're just pushing buttons to deploy robots...the immediate interpersonal physical hand on hand is the kind of violence I meant nerds might be incompatible with...in the flesh....monkey business.

No I have. I thought it was shite actually iirc...all that competitive rubbish when they're training...as if that's remotely enlightened/futuristic.

Ha well, you're right Macdoc I'd forgotten that part of the film, but then I wouldn't say they're nerds.

My mate is slick as fuck in IT and has done heavy time and...well...semantics trying to pin down the word "nerd" - to me it means wimp; like you said Macdoc - with some significant level of academic skill.

Saw this years ago. Only thing I remember about it is that it introduced me to the word "shart". :what:

The one line from that movie that I can't get out of my head for some inexplicable reason is "are you for scuba?"
