A husband is repairing the house that he and his wife are moving into to raise their child. But some weird and gross occurrences interrupt and sabotage his work. And he starts to unravel.
It's a bit of an oddity. Quite sexual and grotesque and strangely current. It even attempts to be feminist in ways, but with some shaky results. Overall, it was interesting. But the final section where Liz takes over the lead needed more filling out. Would've liked to see her given more to do and had a better sense of her. Let's see some more interiority!
just watched the trailer, not seen it but definitely looks worth a try - i love house of the devil and we are still here so that vibe swings it in our favour as well
