2013: A meteor strike on the planet??

#1  Postby the_5th_ape » Jun 08, 2012 6:31 am

This story will blow your mind. That's what usually happens to us when we learn something about the world that seems totally irrational -- but true. In this story we are dealing with time, the future to be exact, and the existence of multiple and different futures.

But wait! If you think this is some pseudo-science, you're dead wrong. Because the proof of this scientific discovery comes with a hefty price tag: a global disaster by 2013.

Back in 2008 some predictions were made by a team of the top, military trained "remote viewers" -- each with over a decade of successful service. Lyn Buchanan from US Army Intelligence and Glenn Wheaton, of US Special Forces participated in a project run by Farsight Institute originally designed to detect minute climate changes at selected targets around the globe. Instead of climate change, the remote viewers saw a huge meteoric impact in the ocean with devastating tidal waves and volcanism. All this happening by 2013.

The economic crisis has hit hollywood, I see. In stead of normal teasers, they've now switched to the typed version.
And the plot sounds as if it has been made before.

The Farsight Institute is run by one Courtney Brown. Amongst other non-critical information on his Wiki page is this gem.

Among other assertions, Brown says he has remote viewed Jesus Christ.

Remote viewing? Oh, fuck.

I read the thread title as: Amateur Strike on the Planet. That turned out to be more charitable than justified.

OK, so a article about an asteroid missing Earth in 2013 is supporting evidence of an asteroid hitting Earth by 2013?

Naaah they stare at them!

IIRC Lyn Buchanan is one of several people mentioned in the book

That's just what they have said - before 2013. So Dec 21 is still on. See? SEE? Them pesky Mayans are right after all.

Bunch of crazies.

From the webpage...
However, web site visitors are reminded that this is research, not certitude. Remember what Albert Einstein once said, "If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?" Web site visitors are encouraged to examine all of our results carefully, and learn with us as we complete this experiment in mid-2013.

I suppose if you're going to do the whole name-dropping thing, you may as well choose one of the very best!

And what if there is a massive meteor strike in an ocean before 2013? What will be the reactions here?

There will be a massive surge of aid and help to those afflicted and an attempt at recovery to some level of civilization.

As far as the 'Remote-viewing' lot are concerned - pure coincidence.

We know that there will be a meteor strike at some time in the future, it's inevitable. We just do not know when.

But I'm going to make sure that it doesn't happen any time soon. I'm going to have a word with the guy upstairs...
