Farewell, Fallible x

#1  Postby UncertainSloth » Oct 16, 2020 6:24 am

Hi folks

I'm not going to write at length at the moment but I wanted to let you all know.

Heather passed away earlier this morning in Clatterbridge hospital, Liverpool.

She deteriorated very quickly over the last 48 hours but died calmly and peacefully in her sleep. Her poor body had just had enough of coping with it all. Meg & I were both lucky to have been with her yesterday evening when she was still communicating and Meg was able to tell her she loved her & to say goodbye and I'm immensely proud of her for doing so. She's an incredible and brilliant young lady that I'm lucky to have by my side in the times ahead.

It's a terrible time of sadness for us but also a sense of relief that she didn't suffer or struggle and that it was very quick and almost unexpected.

Bless you all and love to you all, wherever your lives may lead you

Tony

O fuck.

So sorry to hear that.

My hope now is that you have plenty of friends who'll help you cope with the loss.

Love you, Tony. Love to Meg. And love always to Hev.

That's all I can say right now. You're all in my thoughts.

This is sad news indeed and I am very sorry for your loss Tony.

Although I never met Heather, I liked the interactions I had with her here and always
enjoyed reading her contributions. I'm sure that the world was a better place for her having been in it.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Thoughts to you and Meg, Tony. Remember the good; I'm sure, even only knowing Heather on Ratskep, that there must have been plenty.

Very sad news. My condolences to you and your family. I never met her but enjoyed reading her posts. So she touched the lives of people she never met and that is something. May you find strength and solace in the days ahead.

Very sad right now.
She and I were often on opposite sides of a debate, and yet she never once provoked any ill feeling -- a testament to what a fine person she was.
I found on my HDD some of the photo-cartoons that I did as part of the long-running 'Xena, Warrior Princess' gag, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I shed a tear.
Strength and consolation to all.
