Ugh, cringeworthy indeed.

I always thought it was particularly ridiculous how those kids fucked up every time and waited with calling Captain Planet until it was almost too late. Could have saved themselves a lot of shit by summoning the guy right away. Would have made the episodes a lot shorter though.

There you have it. And I always hated the guy (or was it a girl) with the "Love" ring. Stupid series and doesn't hold ANY water against ANY of the other series of the time.

Fitting fight. There was some middle-aged chick on the show that represented planet earth...come to think of it she was called Gaia. Captain Planet was her representative to do good will and grant everyone on earth peace and harmony. Jesus is supposedly God's messenger who is supposed to bring harmony to the Christian population. So CP has almost 3x the work load while managing to look like a stud.
