I would give a kidney and a testicle to be 39 again. I kid you not.

Perspective; I read the entire James Bond canon at age 18.I concluded that James Bond is 39.

Mate you have your best years ahead of you. I promise that's true if you want it to be.

Stay well, appreciate and savor every day. Works for me.

Thanks.

It works for me too now.

Every day is special now and after my mid life heart check I WILL be stronger than ever! I might go for a mararthon in a few years time...

James Bond 39? Coolness...

My 40th birthday is looming... and I am SO glad to be here to see it!

Still getting stronger every day and I'm now running at least five miles a week!

Mitts,

Late to the thread, but good to hear you are on your way.

My mom had heart issues for years. Back then the doctors didn't even consider the possibility of a woman having these problems, and they were quacks. Being a true southern lady she cooked almost everything with a heaping of bacon grease, and if a meal didn't include some form of heavily salted meat it was a failure. In 1979 she finally saw a MD that knew what he was looking at and she underwent the first of 3 bypass procedures. Had she been medically treated as well as you have been she might be alive today.

Take care!
