Lined Felt Curtains For Home Movie Theatre

#1  Postby aufbahrung » Jun 22, 2019 6:00 pm

Lined Felt Curtains For Home Movie Theatre? They've been packed away in a box and become creased. How long before the creases fall out and should I use weights or a iron or let them do the newborn butterfly wings thing and decrease naturally?

We're in the end times aufbahrung, put them up immediately and hope there's time to squeeze in a whole feature film before the apocalypse.

That's the whole point of home movie theatres. Too watch the end times unfold in high definition.

I'm afraid I'm not sure how you should proceed, but rest assured I empathise with the magnitude of your problem...creased curtains! Jesus wept!

Nothing wrong with the TV, it's a 55" and I'm not size driven in that way. Does look bigger with the curtains. I admit. But the aesthetics is a key part of the experience when watching old movies...

A stick and hoop is all you need, my boy. Any more than that is filthy greed!

Stick and hoop? Luxury. When I were lad all we had to play with was a dead rat, till Mum cooked it.

Cooked? Luxury! We were lucky if the rat was dead, let alone cooked.

If we can get this right when global civilization collapses and the lights go out there will be a shrine to the 'black square god of plastic' which might help civilzation pull through for a second shot like some, albeit not all, imagine Xianity did for the Roman collapse? Yes, there is a cunning plan.

I just thought I'd check in and ask if you managed to solve your problem aufbahrung? I've been losing a fair amount of sleep over it actually :( ...and the nightmares...creased curtains chasing me down spooky alleyways, wartime efforts being deployed in a desperate effort to flatten out those damn creases - but to no avail! The queen breaking down in tears when giving her Christmas address over it....bloody traumatic

My first strategy is to leave them and see what they do over a few months. That stage is still ongoing. There is some progress. Not enough to say it is a success. But enough to wait a little longer. See what happens like at the end of Carpenters The Thing.
