Burning weed smells great, even better than brewed coffee. It tastes even worse than straight coffee to me now though.

Smoking it in a rolled joint is harsh as hell. Yesterday, The_Metatrix suggested a water pipe thing. So, what I found locally is a Goo Roo Designs Mini Beaker bong, made just down the road in Portland.

I’ll have to refine my technique. But, it delivers a cooler smoke than what you get from a joint. I’d rank this device as a close alternative to a dry herb vaporizer.

Apparently, alcohol, salt, and shaking does a good job. Dish soap does little to the leftover resin. It seems dishwashers are ineffective and risky.

Good.
With a "whip" vaporizer, iirc replace the bowl piece in the water bong with the mouthpiece from the whip and suck the vapor through the water bong.

Or, at the least, you now know how to beat it into submission. It may not take five months, either. You'd have to be the guinea pig for your own experiment.

As a man of science, I will continue to collect data as a daily user. You know, to bracket the problem.
