Keep fighting it Fallible, forget the worlds problems and immerse yourself in a good book. Well that’s my opinion be it ever so humble.
Oh yes and you’re not allowed to bale out until you’ve recruited 10 members for the book thread
The slap in the face that is offered by anti-rationalist, pseudo-scientists and anti-intellectuals that infest much of public discourse is a sad coda to what has been achieved these centuries past by the scientific method - don’t get me started

Has your experience with your cancer changed in any way your existing beliefs about God and/or an afterlife?

No.

She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.

Cheers, Olivier. And crazyfitter too - sorry, I forgot to thank you yesterday. Do you know, finding people who read is pretty hard. That surprised me.

Fairies and Unicorns aren't real, silly, not like Barney.

Barney is just a child's version of the dragon that drug persons chase, and thus an attempt by Big Drug to seduce young people into a life of addiction. Read about Danon. Open your eyes, people.

What? Your cancer has not convinced you that God exists? Or that the fear of death has made you desire life after death so desperately that you deluded yourself that he does?

Can't talk about MY cancer, since to the best of my knowledge I have none yet, but my parents' have convinced me that if dog has the bad taste of existing, it's and evil bastard unworthy of worship.

We all have faulty cells floating about. All it takes is your immune system to miss them and fail to take them out. Odds are now 1:2 in your lifetime. You’re a man. If you live long enough your prostate will more than likely betray you, so...you know...enjoy saying you don’t have cancer while you can.
