There are still hundreds of people who have logged onto RDF in the past week but don't know how to get in touch with other members. If you can think of any people you haven't seen here, you could send them a PM on RDF and give them this link. They might not want to come here but in case they are looking for a way to meet up with people, at least they'll have that option.

I've sent a PM to Steve Hurlin via the RDF board, as I've not seen his name here (unless he's using another sig now). He was the guy asking for atheist testimonials for use on his blog; figured he'd feel right at home here.

Problem: The RDF PM I sent to Steve, as well as another (it was Darwin2  ) haven't gone through. For some reason, the 'send' button just dumps them in the outbox folder. Am I misreading the software - i.e., will it send once the users are online? Or is the RDF board doing something a bit naughty?

They stay in the outbox until they are read. When they leave the outbox you know the other person has read them. Same with the forum here.

^^Okay. Thanks for that.

A thought, BTW - if every ex-RDF member invites two old hands to this board, I figure the largely exponential increase (not wholly exponential of course, what with diminishing returns and different invites going to the same people) should fill this place up in no time. What do you think?

I am in touch with Hoopy Frood who is currently offline due to his modem and cyberlife being disrupted.
Nice to see everyone.

Thanks Nora for the kind Birthday Greeting. I guess one reason I might have been away from both Ratskep and Rationalia is the position of my friend above.

Thx @Mantisdreamz a very special friend, another one! Thank you so much for your kind Birthday Greeting. Boy this is like old times on the Five Word Thread and other wonders on RDF. *feels sentimental*  :) :)

Hehe  I miss that old thread. Say, we don't have an acronym thread on this site either. What's going on?!

Hope you're having a great B day Kate. :)
