I'd love to be proved wrong though. Hopefully we see some well researched, objective ideas that have been tested against reality in places that have legalized gay marriage. Then Croc will have something to reply with other than "citation please", or "non sequitur".

It will be interesting to see if Lion can resist derailing his debate.

I'm curious to see if Lion has more than he's shown in the last thread about this.

But I'm expecting there'll be more guff about same-sex couples adopting or rearing children, which happens regardless of the marriage status of the couple, and a whole bunch of homophobic assertions which will be both unevidenced and irrelevant to question of marraige. Then it will all fall back on dictionary definitions and equivocation about whether those definitions are descriptive or prescriptive. At several stages Lion will claim to be being victimised by the existence of people who disagree with him.

I was ready to post on Friday but the first post in the debate (mine) starts a 72 hour reply deadline clock countdown.
In deference to Durro (attending GAC over the weekend) and Crocodile Gandhi who had, as I understand it a marathon race sometime over the weekend, (which he said prevented him from attending GAC) I offered to delay my first post until Sunday evening AEST.
