Eeek! No! Not without some direction. What is the vibe you are looking for? I mean, I can think of some nondescript jazz/rock stuff....But I really don't know what you are going for. Give me a direction and I am sure I can send you some samples to listen to.

What do you mean?

Ahh I was responding to Life DJ comment. If you are looking for music, interactive, or entertainment that is something that I would help with. I have over 600 gigs of music reaching from the 20's to the 90's. But I won't be able to add anything of intellectual rigor, life is to short for all that. But if you need fun times, then yeah I am down for collaboration and finding out what you want and what you need.

That reminds me; we need an opening song. We will begin the episode by playing about 20 seconds or less of a song. Do you have any suggestions?

Be careful, please. Copyright infringements and such. Maybe hack can contribute a short loop or something?
I would stay away from using any commercial stuff.

Video killed the radio star....

No,
podcast killed the video star maybe

As long as the song is used for non-profit purposes, I am legally able use it under fair use, aren't I?

Nope. I'm not sure about that "30 seconds"-thing, could be.

Yeah I would agree with that.

But non-profit purposes also is important.

How about Thiiiiiiiiings Can Only Get Better, D-ream featuring Prof Brian Cox?

Or astronomer Sir Patrick Moore? - This one sounds charmingly fitting for a podcast!

The podcast will feature a guest every month. We would discuss certain subjects with them.
