You might remember that when the RichardDawkins forum was dying, I created an offline version so that its content wouldn't be lost.

Now, there is a risk that Ratskep will at some point in time not be there any more. So I decided to also create an offline archive of this forum so that in case Ratskep might be gone at some point of time in the future, we still have all that content. This is currently going on and will probably take a couple of weeks altogether. The current snapshot of the forum will then be available for download.

Every few weeks I will download the new posts and publish an updated version.

Thank you for this it is always a risk that servers fail etc and there is so much on these pages here that it would be a shame to lose them.

Need to laser print the data into deep time material and set copies at locations where it can be found at the last stage of human civilisation that might be long in the future and be troubled how it all got started, for knowing what to do towards the end...or even at crisis points along the way like Hari Seldon appearing.

If they have the tech to bring folks back in the far future using the astonishing pick me as one to bring back, please, stories I could tell and some might even be interesting.

Weird, after an absence of 2 1/2 years, just a couple of days ago I was irresistibly curious to check out reactions to the protests by folks here and find this. I very much remember your efforts due to participating in some very minor way by providing some storage space. I thought it was a little strange that earlier today my access logs showed some downloads of the full data sets after all these years that weren't something like tweetmemebot or other search bots [VirginMedia residential outa Birmingham]. I guess it wasn't so strange after all.

It's cheaper to close down a school due to a flu scare than it is to properly fund it.
