Heh, I still post the occasional long post over there, even if it's the place I go to for R&R from the more serious business here.

It's precisely because I treat it as my R&R stop, that I tend to avoid becoming entangled with the Sethoids and other weird swamp creatures that end up in Waen Rhydd Peat Bog.

That's probably the issue. I'm probably not the only one to treat Rationalia as an R&R stop, with occasional side detours for JavaScript hints and tips. Once the serious combat moved to here, and Ratz wasn't on the front line as it were, it started to take on at least some of the aura of an idiosyncratic walled garden from a Gothic children's novel.

If it dies, I'll miss it, not least because I actually found some of its methods for dealing with miscreants to be inspired. Plus, I had much fun over there venting my programming frustrations. There are some seriously knowledgeable people in the "geek" sections, and it'll be a shame to lose their output, along with the quixotic environment that output is found in.

One of the fonder memories I'll take from there, is Ayaan having to play perpetual straight man to Gawdzilla. Oh, and her cats.
