Do you think it works to drop a shit bomb here to see what others say about it?

OK, so the thread title and OP etc are/were somewhat polarised/extreme/exaggerated. So, to refine, I've been exposed to care homes recently in my work and so have witnessed much of the agonies of the residents and, of course, assisted suicide and living wills are not commonplace in the UK due to...er...our not being one of the most societally advanced countries in "Europe."

Did the NHS doctor Shipman "euthanise" many of his patience due to empathy for their inevitable physiological agony/plight/decline/sicknesses, in a state (geographical "state" - the UK (England?)) where living wills are esoteric and assisted suicide is illegal or, did the NHS doctor Shipman commit his crimes for..what? Cheap thrills? Any other theories?

@the Metatron, I wish you'd stop hating yourself. The mobile biking repair shop magnificent and righteous achievement is reason enough for you to, you know, smile?

Person with a history of mental illness working in care home, initiates discussion on a publicly accessible Internet forum on whether Harold Shipman did it for good or bad reasons.

Good luck at the Bad Idea Awards, KIR.

You clearly missed (as did so many) the ratskep 101 gossip-core episode where I were convinced one of Jamie Bulger's killers was posting here. The hashtag? Because notorious killers....in ratskep topics, therefore association.

They were not. From the Wikipedia:
The police investigated other deaths Shipman had certified and investigated 15 specimen cases. They discovered a pattern of his administering lethal doses of diamorphine, signing patients' death certificates, and then falsifying medical records to indicate that they had been in poor health.

Um, it's a reply to the question you titled your thread with. Difficult to spot, I know.

Nobody here missed you bullying a forum member off the forum because if your idiotic inferences, nor that he contributed a good deal more to the forum than you ever have.

In fact, even I didn't miss this, despite the fact that I wasn't actually here at the time.

Your drunken depredations have been noted.

Why do you think I think you're a toxic, useless cunt?

If you were a Christian, as opposed to just a nasty little twat, I'd point you to the portions of the hokey blurble dealing with public displays of piety.

Donating to charity does not lessen one's status as a cunt.

It's not the mental illness that worries me, mentally ill peeps are way more likely to be the victims of crime than the perpetrators.
What worries me is the multiple admission to violence and GBH here and on other forums. He's also a fucking eugenist.

So here we have KIR. We all know KIR. KIR gets a job in some sort of care facility and the very first thing he has to say about said job is how it makes him feel about euthanesia and Harold Shipman. Am I the only one to see how fucked up this is??
I don't believe anything KIR says anyway, but if there's even a risk that the NHS is in so much shit that they would consider hiring this particular trash pile of a human being I would do everything I can to find where he is working and dox his ass.

*edit: I forgot to add that KIR is also a fucking eugenist.
Phew... for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself.....

No, you really aren't. It's not good, and I worry for those who might fall under the rubric of his 'care', especially given his history with somebody clearly neurodivergent on this very forum.
