Critical Thinking

University of Victoria's "Thinking Critically" Has compiled a nice guide to place you on the path to higher thinking. It also includes an extensive, comprehensive explanation on Concept Mapping and Problem Solving.

Bloom's Taxonomy is another great starting point.

CriticalThinking.org Has an extensive library of free articles on critical thinking.

Logical Fallacies

LogicalFallacies.info Has a nice list of logical fallacies.

Stephen Downes Guide to the Logical Fallacies Is worth a quick peek. It contains an extensive list of logical fallacies.

Robert Todd Carroll, author of The Skeptic's Dictionary, has authored a book called Becoming a Critical Thinker. Two chapters are available for free downloading. Very good IMO! :thumbup:
